Writing for Traveller

Can someone point me in the direction of some information to guide me through the minefield of copyrights, licences, permissions and associated regulatory chaff that govern writing for Traveller?

What can an average joe like me actually publish that would be 'approved for use with Traveller' these days?

I'm thinking of getting my head around Lulu, and I need a project that will inspire me to learn.

The "Approved for Use" level is negotiate with Mongoose, pure and simple, and realize you might need to renegotiate with MWM in 2015 or so.

A TLL product, you need to merely obey the restrictions contained in the Traveller Logo License, which is included in the MGT Dev Kit. Such products don't say "approved for use with" merely "Requires the use of"....

There is an SRD for Mongoose Traveller that is available on their forum, inspired by, I assume, Wizard of the Coast's successful line of documents of the same acronym.

I think that "Traveller Developer's Pack" downloadable from Mongoose includes some stuff for what is license-able. I was just glancing through that last night.

Wow, that took some finding. Even a direct search on the Mongoose website didn't show it. Maybe they're not looking for writers?
I'll see if I get time to look at it today.
