Worlds: Decreasing G rating

Hopefully this is the right forum, mods please place where appropriate if not.

I remember in The Traveller Book there was a template for creating worlds for space combat surfaces and formulas for determining the diameter of said world, along with bands indicating 0.75G, 0.5G and 0.25G. IIRC they were to be used to modify vector movement within gravity wells.

Anybody have those formulas, or a reasonable facsimile? Working on a MGT scenario where space combat may occur near a gas giant and looking to crunchy it up a bit.

Thanks!

4 formulas

R=8D
M=K(D/8)^3
Gs=KD/8
L=64 sqrtM/G

R = radius in mm
M = mass in earth masses
G = Gravity
Gs= Surface Gravity
K = Density in earth densities
L = distance from planetary center at which gravity equal G for a planet of mass M

Use D and K to compute R, M, and Gs

Compute Multiple Ls for several G values beginning at .25 increasing by .25 until G equals or exceeds Gs (until L is =< R).

This is all in LBB2 page 36
