Vilani genetic origins?

This made me wonder just what Vilani loook like in c57 in OTU. Also, were they an amalgum of various human species at the time of seperation? Or were they all from the same gene pool?

Well, the human woman on the left here is a Vilani. IIRC if you have a copy of the book and look closely, you'll see she has funny coloured eyes.
 
My ancestors originally hailed from mountainous region on Vland, the local conditions adapted them to having a much ruddier skin tone and much lighter hair coloring... the golden eyes remained constant, though... I think another example of this would be the Captain Gamaagin Kaashukiin from JTAS 20's casual encounter... as rendered by the talented Darlene Pekul...
