Vargr pic

His other artwork suffers from the same problem as other artists: the number and position of the mammaries are as if on an ape, not on a canine.

Well, this has always been my favorite Vargr pic, in particular the Husky / Timber wolf Vargr in the red with gold apulets in the background.

I like also the pics in the right (click on the tigress called "siberian Shamaness" and you'll see some aslans too).
 
Actually it's awful. I really must redo it.

If you spent 6 months trying to nail the fine details, then yeah, it needs some work. :)

But as art, it captures the essence with minimal detail and captures a sense of emotion.
Rather than 'lassie with a ray gun', I get the feeling of a Vargr soldier just taking a load off between firefights.
He seems both tired and a real soldier.

To capture that essence with so little fine detail, IS worthy of praise.
I would be happy to see it as 'atmosphere' art in a Vargr or soldier book.
