So, is there any update on the status of Traveller Universe? Wasn't Hemiden working on another version?

Yup, still working on it. RL got seriously in the way over the past 2.5 years, and I've been experimenting with a couple of ideas that ended up going back to the drawing board, but I'm still working on it.

And just in case someone mentions my other long term project that currently shows no apparent progress: the data cleaning exercise is also moving along.

The data cleaning project, which I had limited to just the Spinward Marches for now, involved comparing all published UPPs with the electronic data ... Identifying differences and classifying them as typos or genuine changes over time (different sources represent different times). The final ouput would be several versions of the sector data, correct for 1105, 1107, 1112, 1117, and 1201.

And as I said, this is almost complete. The hardest part was typing in all th UPPs for the Spinward Marches by hand several times. So tedious, yet OCR wouldn't hack it.

However, before that I need to fix all the CSS on my website. Some problems popped up with IE7 (my visitors are 70% IE, 25% Mozilla). So a major behind-the-scenes overhaul is going on.
