Traveller Map Questions

Why are there towns and estates placed on population zero planets.
Specifically the Storr sector.

Are these historical artifacts? Or just a quirk of the T5 system generation?

They are easy enough to work around, but, when the player(s) have access to the map itself, it invariably raises lots of questions.

Note that Storr Sector is listed as "Unofficial" (See lower left corner of Webpage).

Are you referring to the results when you use the link to the world map generator? That's a different site entirely.

Yeah. I wasn't aware that was a different site. But yes.

Are you cognizant of the reason for placement of these items?

Looks like a bug to me. May be the presence of non-zero TL (which, for unpopulated worlds, means there are ruins). May be a problem with inferring T5 data fields from older data. Also, unclear if non-Imperial worlds should get noble estates.
