Ever think to create a version of Traveller for the FUDGE RPG (www.fudgerpg.com/fudge)? Granted, it's not "Traveller", but is d20? GURPS?
I'd like to hear what others think!
I think it will work fine. I've read but never played FUDGE, but it seems to me to be more like a RPG tool kit. The referee will have a lot of work to customize all parameters. After that, it will work fine. Probably better than T20 and perhaps even better than GURPS (I don't think that d20 hit points will work well with Traveller and I dislike GURPS narrow approach to skills and advantages).
Anyway, I think that CT/MT/T4 do a pretty good job to provide rules to play in the Traveller universe.

I don't have the URL handy but I know somebody has a FUDGE conversion for Traveller on the web.

I am increasingly of the opinion that RPGs are by the nature of their creation subjective phenomenon. due to the interaction between game designers, game masters, and game players all definitions, rules, settings, and adventures are mutable in acordance with the uncertainty principle as expounded by Heisenburg. This is of course merely my point of view.
