Traveller Bestiary

Has anyone ever worked up a bestiary for Traveller with all of the various beasts that show up in the Journal of the Traveller's Aid Society and adventures? Looking back at my copies of the Journal, there are a fair number of creatures that are said to be on multiple planets, whether spread there by the Ancients, another earlier space-faring race, earlier colonizing efforts, or by accidental spread via star ships.

A better thing to look at is the summary list. There are a few in the T5 core book which are missing, but I don't know of any beyond that.

I'm almost done with one now. I'm working on a couple of adventures that will be in it, along with the ridiculously detailed write-ups of the animals and their relationships to each other and their respective environments.

Some of them have already been posted on these forums and collected in Freelance Traveller.

I'm going for Mongoose/CT compatibility at the moment, but that could change. The book should be done by end of January or February depending on how long it takes to get the artwork. Might have to Kickstart it for that since I can't do it all myself.

Nice! are they the ones from JTAS? so its through Mongoose?

Remember that some of the Mongoose Alien books include animals. I know Zhodani does... :rofl:
