Marc Miller posted that he hopes to release the PDF for the Traveller 5.1 books as early as today, 7/4/19.

Can't wait.

What is this "5.1" of which you speak? I doubt that Marc said that. T5.10 is not a decimal, so you can't just drop the zero. It's ten, not one. I've been calling it Traveller 5.v10 to try to avoid that confusion.

EDIT: And, Yay! I can get back to proofreading Book 1 now, then move on to Books 2 and 3. I had to stop about 2/3 through Book 1 due to health issues, then after those files got sent to the printer, Marc suggested that I wait for this PDF to come back before doing any more work. Who knows, maybe by the time the BBBs are ready (August-ish?) in print, we'll be ready for T5.v11 as PDF (or maybe T5.v10b: no rules changes, only fixed typos, errata and such)!

Which is why I have said since the start the pdf should have been released for erra chacking before sending it to the printer.

The secret squirrels can not pick up the same amount of typos and errors as a thousand sets of eyes...

I have already found a couple of typos that I noted previously, that did not get fixed. However, it is gratifying to see how many of the errors I found DID get fixed, and at least the first 2/3 of Book 1 is a smoother read because of it.
