I recently discovered the pregenerated trade maps. Wonderfully useful stuff, particularly as I do not own any of the GURPS material.
I use the Vanguard Reaches sector, and many of the trade routes are shown as multi-hex. For instance, Brainstorm and Tulear are separated by three hexes and have a BTN-10 "green" connection. Does the GURPS method assume that this link is served by ships with a minimum of J-3?
