On to business; The game is pbp and end your preconceived notions of what this game is about right _____< there (should be "here", but since there is an open and underlined space for "here", we have, "there").:rofl:
You're still with me? Good. The game is Mongoose flavored, Third Imperium, Golden-Era Goodness. It is, at the Heart-of-it-all, a play-by-post game.
However, there are a few differences that are as follows
:-the game is more akin to an unfolding Novel as it moves from Chapter-to-Chapter; perfection as a writer is not indicated so don't feel as though you need to live up to some "standard", just have fun! And besides, most will tell you I've few standards at all!
-This is not a "rules-heavy" game; if you want to invoke rules and die-throws, ask for it and it will happen!
The overall game is following the Classic Traveller storyline, "Safari Ship" and we are in the midst of a diversion working toward the... Safari.
What?!? You say "I don't have the time"? Get over it; fifteen minutes here, a half-hour there, and maybe 10 minutes over there. Hop in awhile in character and add to the story! The more players, the quicker the plot moves along!
There are 3 players at the moment and you'll be jumping into already created character(s); but that's just fine. I did it and so can you! After the Safari, a new game, new characters, maybe military or maybe political intrigue. We'll know when we get there and we'd love to have you along for the ride!
