Hello everyone,

It has been a while since I have been here at all. When will T5 actually be on sale so anyone can find it and buy it? I am looking for the Dead Tree style only and NOT the CD rom style. No I did not do Kickstart as money was extremely tight at that time, BUT I would like to buy a copy now!!!

So what is the release date and link where I can obtain a copy please?

Ok I see that the Kickstart folks are just getting email notifications that their copies will be shipped soon, so that means those of us that were not Kickstart will get a chance eventually to buy a copy. Ok I am golden with that, just want the URL link to where to go to buy a copy is all!!!

No problem!

Hang around - I'm sure activity on the Traveller 5 forum will be picking up in the next weeks - and Don already has an errata sticky at the top of this forum.

For me I buy anything Traveller and always have. I have a huge library in my den of the stuff, and although I am not curently GMing a campaign...I still collect stuff.

I wasn't able to get to the book level on Kickstarter, so will have to get one when they are released generally. I did manage a lower level though and I am looking forward the arrival of that material. I was getting a T5 CD anyway as I had ordered the playtest version long ago.

Quite excited, yes indeed.

Hmm, I'm ordering from http://www.traveller5.net/OrderT5.html and it says you can add available CD ROMs to the basket at no additional shipping; but when I do so, they appear in a separate cart to the T5 bundle and dice etc. I don't want to do a separate order for the MT CD-ROM (I own the others already) if it means losing the disount/free shipping.

Is it some code bug - and is there any way to combine the carts? Or at least to ensure I can order it all without incurring extra costs for separate orders?

Just as a NOTE I am also on Mongoose Pub form as "2330adusa1" user and there are a couple of Die Hards that feel threatened over there just because I brought up the topic of asking if anyone had any word on when T5 would be available for everyone. It is clear that I collect everything, and I was only asking if anyone had any update over there. Then I came here and posted as well and etc. I also gave others over there a update too, just to keep folks informed. Now there are some there too that also se I was NOT trying to cause any issue or even talk about T5, just get a release update.

Amazing that some folks must put on blinders....

You know I am very quickly running out of shelf space within my library. At this point after 37+ years of collecting gaming stuff ( I have a lot), my wife refuses to give up anymore of her remaining shelves for my gaming stuff. Currently I have 4 Mongoose Traveller products on order that I am awaiting the Dead Tree version to ship and then waiting for T5 Dead Tree to ship as well. I might have room after all that for a few more items, but once T5's other products start coming out and the rest of Mongoose Traveller stuff comes out, I am gonna have trouble. I have been luck and have always resisted laying books ontop of other books on the shelves in the library as it looks bad but I have no other choice. I guess I might need to buy and add another floor to cealing book case and move the couple of shelves of my wife's cooking books into that and claim these free 4 shelves for myself. I also collect Pathfinder and Basic Roleplaying products as well and would have no problem with filling those shelves quickly. I would then have to re do the other 5 bookshelves floor to cealing to shuffle things around.

Preach the word, Brother. 19 full-size bookcases here, and I long-since moved several games' libraries to the upper shelves in my closet; thank ghod for high ceilings.

In the 90s, I broke the United Van Lines record for boxes of books, when I moved 300+ from Baltimore to Cincinnati. I'm so incredibly glad I don't buy everything in dead trees any more, and can read Kindle and PDF versions on so many platforms.

Well ok your collection sounds larger than my own (extremely rare), but honestly I still like just looking at my library of books. A .pdf or kindle version just doesn't give me that feel as a Dead Tree version does.

I will say this, I have had to limit what I can actually display in my library. Basically for me I have had to exile some stuff to the rubbermain toutes and into storage. I still expand on my Traveller stuff though and that is one of my oldest lines of gaming stuff that I collected over the years.

I salute you and your collection though!!!
