Okay, I've read the Imperiallines #6 and been through the book. In generating up the race that evolved on Louzy (Jewell/Spin March) on one of the limbs rolls I got LM, which according to the codes at the bottom of the table reads as "Legs No Limbs"

Is that meant to be "No Digits" or something else?

Legs and legs.

Not that I am some sort of expert, but I have create three Sophonts so far so I like to pretend I know what I'm doing.

I am pretty sure it means two (2) Legs at the rear of the Sophont. LL means multiple Legs at the rear. Or at least that is how I have using it.

"LN" would be one pair of legs in that limb group, while "LM" would be multiple legs with one dominant pair, similar to the leaping insects of Terra. "MM" would be like a centipede.

As an example, a grasshopper would be rolled as a "Flyer", and could be interpreted as WW in front and LM in back, representing the double wings of most insects, the large hopping legs ("L"), and the other four legs ("M").

My typo in the first entry - it was LN not LM

Thanks guys. GC - that's resolved the dilemma and given me a nice critter to explain the billions of population on a small planet that humaniti can't even breath upon.

Once I've got the cards done up I'll put up a few links and upload them.
