I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt, but that wording in the blog scared me a bit about investing in such products. Worded as it is I could be left holding the bag if Mark runs out of books or just overlooks my order.

On the other hand, Paypal is ruthless about making sure sellers deliver purchased products. I had no doubt whatsoever that I would receive the Ebay book I ordered.

Marc had enough printed to have stock left to sell after fulfilling the whole shebang. Marc's noted for delivery... sometimes slow, but always gets there.

Kickstarter projects (and indiegogo, and half a dozen other similar crowdfunding sites) all have no guarantee on delivery. Marc's at least honest about it.

Certain companies are using it for preorders - Burning Wheel amongst them - of items that they'd bring to sale one way or another, but by crowdfunded preorders, they know both how many to print and which formats.

RPG and Board games are actually amongst the higher delivery rates in KS's history. Most of them have been playtested, and really only need the money to go to press.

Hemdian and Murdoc,

You probably already know this, but, there are Traveller T-Shirts available from FFE.

They are not T5 T-Shirts and you cannot get the red 'Strike From Space' T-Shirts but the black 'Referee' shirt you have Hemdian is available (without the 5 after the Traveller logo).

There are also black T-Shirts with:

IISS xboat Service (the one I'm wearing in my avatar pic)
TAS Member - Black shirt with white sunburst.

Also versions of the Traveller logo shirts, with, or without 'Referee', 'Player'.

In addition, there are printed coffee mugs, coasters and place mats.

Sorry if you knew about these already.

I have, over the past year, purchased one of every design for myself and my brother and son.

The quality is top notch and the prices are very reasonable.
