T5 compared to T4

[Supplement Four]

Since the same task system is used (well, pretty much the same), how interchangable would you say weapons, armor, and equipment are with T4?

Could you, say, take a weapon or a suit of armor from the T4 core rulebook and use it with T5?

What about T4 starships?

Oook, that's a good question. What DOES weapon and armor "look" like in T4? I've forgotten. I seem to remember "Flex" vs "Rigid" armor, and that's all... I don't even remember the scales used.

Ships? Well as with all Traveller rules, any unarmed trader can port to any Traveller system with little or no adjustments.

The challenge is that T4's ship design systems treat weapons, armor, and defenses differently than T5, so you'd have to figure out how to map those parts of a ship into T5.
