T2K Miniatures

Anyone looking for T2K miniatures might want to have a look at Quick Reaction Force:
http://www.quickreactionforce.uk.co

They make contemporary 15mm Soviets and U.S. infantry, as well as an extensive line of 1:100 scale contemporary vehicles. Although I know the original T2K miniatures were 20mm, but the version 2.2 rules include a number of buildings and maps on 1/2 inch grids that would work very well with 15mm figures.

Not a bad site but I think the url got a bit twisted, I found it at http://www.quickreactionforce.co.uk

The infantry are 15mm true, and the essay on scale was interesting in this regard, but the pictures (which may be the trouble) made them seem poorly cast.

The 1:100 scale vehicles on the other hand (when the pictures were focused) look great (but that might be the excellent paint some of them had). If you have some of the T2K miniatures in 20mm that's as close to 1:100 as you're likely to find. Does anybody know who made the T2K figures? I know I saw them in the store years ago but never bought any and don't recall the maker.

The prices for over here (Canada) might be a bit steep after shipping though. I'll have to see if they have a local distributor, or maybe convince my flgs to order them.

You might also want to look at www.rlbps.com. HLBPS puts out a 1/48th scale modern forces range. The range includes peasants, SF, regular army. Couple that with the new models out in 1/48th (can't remember company, but Hobby Lobby carries the range, 8.00 for the tanks and APC's.) Miniatures are 4 for $10.00, and a lot more fun to paint.
