Stellar Data in 1248 Books

Ok, I have the 1248 books and started parsing the UWPs into my databases. Does anyone know what the designation are for the asterisks, brackets, parentheses in the Stellar data sections of the books. There is mention of cleaning up the Stellar Data between CT canon and current (current when the 1248 books came out) knowledge. Can anyone help here?

Wonderful! Thank you very much! Reading the data makes much more sense. Now I have to break up the data properly. Not like I haven't redesigned my db before. Work, work, work...
