Ok, it's work-in-progress, but I like the smooth, organic lines. Reminds me a bit of the Zentraedi ships from the old Macross anime ... I've got some models of those in a box. Uh, sorry, what was I talking about? Oh, yes, the stairs and catwalks are a great idea, I can just imagine how the interior would look on film ... or in anime ...

Well, it was just an idea, that Hivers dont like elevators

Maybe there is a kind of interior transport system (Hiver grav sleds).
The stairs are actually just ramps with "solid ground", not in a catwalk style.

I the ship wouldn't be defined as a multi-species ship, I would tend to make a bit more "cramped" inside.

Does someone know any remarks on Hiver design style ?

Hivers evolved in and still occasionally populate Snohl tunnels.

There's very little about Hiver ship design preferences available. What there is available is over on SPL's boards

While that may be true for the vast majority of the species, certain individuals will try to convince ignorant aliens that it is tradition for Hivers to rub their tentacles against other lift passengers to calm them during the journey. Such individuals are of course considered highly aberrant by normal Hiver society and should be reported to the nearest social manipulation centre.
