I am trying to design a ship, (using moon toad's spacecraft design guide). I immediately ran into a problem with the armor. The chart says the protection for Crystaliron is 4 per 5%. 5% of what?(probably missing something obvious) The only chart on pg. 24.

5% of the ship's hull tonnage.

The cost is in percent of the base hull cost.
