Stage effects, general vs. specific

The Starship drives chart includes a Drive Efficiency Stage Effect chart, though it mentions that drives should also reference the QERBS effects as well (presumably due to space on the page).

However the page 500 chart includes tonnage modifiers. Do those really apply to drives? Seems a bit too good to be true to me, the fuel savings are quite impressive already.

I think the same thing: they're quite generous. The old drafts stopped at 1/2 volume for drives. I think 1/2 is plenty.

For jump drives, the fuel volume savings usually dwarfs the device volume savings.
