Solomani Rim Expeditions

In the DGP book Solomani and Aslan they reference several large and long range Solomani exploration missions towards the rim. Anyone thought about those and what they portend for the Solomani? A great idea that I would like to see fleshed out, sort of a reverse Zhodani Core Expedition program.

The late Bari Z. Stafford, Sr. (1953-2002), aka General Turokan, did most the best work on it, in his "Rim Route Project: Turokan's Expedition to the Rim"
