Snapshot Questions

Hi all.
I'm just learning Snapshot and have a couple of questions:

1. I know a character can do a snap-attack on another character that moves from a non-adjacent square to an adjacent square. Can he do a snap-attack if the other character moves from one adjacent square to another adjacent square?

2. When you do a cover action, do you have to do that at the beginning of your turn and use all your APs? Or are you allowed to do other things first (like move) before you start doing the cover action, which then uses the REST of your APs? The rules don't really specify.

Let me know what you think, thanks.

I have the Classic Traveller CD-ROM and have been having fun printing out counters and boards from both the Snapshot pdf and deck plans from the other Traveller books. I'm working on a Cyberboard Gamebox for it since there doesn't seem to be one yet.

In response I have allways played:

1 a single snap attack at any enemy closing the distance, no further attacks if that character circles your character in the same or following turns. However another snap-attack if they move away and then close again.

2 Cover mission is a whole of turn action and uses all AP, must be entered into at start of turn before ant AP's have been spent.

If you follow the obsidian portal link below and look in the Wiki section "Splinter's guide to Snapshot 101" has some useful insights for beginner players.

A couple more questions

1. If a character moves adjacent to two or more characters simultaneously, does each one get to snap-attack him separately?

2. If two or more characters are doing "cover" missions and another character moves into both their cover areas simultaneously, do all the covering characters get to attack him?

I'm playing a Cyberboard game with someone on the "Far Trader" deck plans from "Traders and Gunboats", and these questions are coming up. Thanks.
