I'm guessing, maybe for leverage and/or to allow it to use controls and devices etc originally designed for human use.

Do you mean that the ISS is not Handicapped Accessible?

Surely the American section must be. US law requires all Federally funded facilities to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act. :)

Color me a Romantic, but for me it will always be the Ship That Sang. :D

And it is really peeving me that I am tired and rushed and for the life of me can not remember her name. Still she taught me to look at the Central Case of anything machine like now.

But quaddies are still cool in their way.
