Seeker trying again?

I like Jessie's stuff (where has he been hiding, as he has not updated his website nor produced things for Traveller for yahrens now) but I also like some of the power fusion stuff. But then again. I also like Chris Foss for Traveller.

Gotta say this...

Jesse DeGraff is male. Jessie is generally the spelling used by the female of the species.

And I do miss seeing a lot of Mr. DeGraff's work - but OTOH, we have some very good developing/developed Traveller artists out there, like Andrew Boulton and Ndege Diamond. And I'm sure that there are others who have not yet come to my attention.

I also suspect that the magmagmag who is a featured artist for the Calendar is the same person as the MAG who has done several pages of artwork for Freelance Traveller - someone with a good eye and handy with a rendering program, but needs to work on some more natural poses for his human figures.

(Note: I'm not criticising the use of a rendering program - I doubt that most of what's out there could be done without one. It still takes a good "artist's eye" to be able to put together the scene so that it CAN be rendered. Nor would I criticise the use of Photoshop or gimp for altering photographs to "Travellerize" them, for the same reason.)

Seeker made some nice deckplans, I still have the few I didn't sell. I like their nonTraveller rendered stuff, though. Someday when I would like to have poser or photoshop to do renders & alterations. Currently all my stuff is done thru my old Paint program. Sigh.

Nothing wrong with good old Paint or what you've done with it :)

I've seen horrible stuff done with poser and photoshop and great stuff done with Paint. It's far more about the craftwork than the tools.
