Second Survey/TAS Vol 3 Release Dates?

Hi all.

Anyone know when Second Survey and the third book of JTAS reprints are gonna be released? Site says "Summer 2003", and that's getting pretty close on my calendar....

me two! I'm interested in any news on that subject. I think that the last that I heard was that vol 3 of JTAS was going to be delayed because of some formating issues. That news is several months old though...

I still see that both Second Survey and JTAS Issues 25-36 are being advertised, with prices of $32, and $30, for availability Summer 2003 on:

I'm sure a legion of CT fans would seriously enjoy seeing these published. Even if they're not coming until much later, next year, whenever, news would be appreciated.

Any news? FFE do seem to have an erratic timetable.

FFE has a very erratic time table. Take any date for publication on their website with a kilogram of salt. I've been waiting for some of their books to be published for years. I have come to assume they will never be published, and can be pleasantly surprised when the show up in my FLGS.

I cross my fingers, and in regards the publication of these products, I wish for FFE: "Success, success, success!"

When I last wrote to Marc, he said that he was working on them... and also Twilight 2000 bk II but was very vague about release dates.

My guess is that we might see something before the end of this year but it seems like there are many snags and bugs with the reprints that we are simply not aware of. As sales are doing well, it is just production problems.

Sometimes, you wish all Traveller publishers could sit in a single room and hammer out a single production schedule. As I would have no problem supporting all of them on a monthly basis.

But things are not all that bad, I also like HDI's Fading Suns and their production schedule is even worse, as it looks like we might see a product (War in the Heavens : Pantheon) promised in 2000 only appearing next year 2004 along with their attempt to get on the Transhuman/cyberpunk wave...

Since you have been talking with Marc about MT Reprints (on CD-ROM), have you had a chance to ask about the next to printed CT Reprints?

At this point, I am not in any particular hurry, I just wanted to know if a date had been set yet.
