9 Spades - She wants to rebuild civilization. Her part of that is finding relic equipment to bring back to rebuild Oriflamme and the rest of the RC. She is driven to be the best at finding relics. When she makes a mistake, she gets very upset at herself and sometimes this causes her to become angry with those around her also.
8 Clubs - Don't get in Fireball's way. She knows what she wants and she'll do what it takes to get it. She's often verbally aggressive and will freely criticize ideas that she thinks are sub par or just plain stupid. Pugnacious is a very good description of her.
She's often brusque to the point of being rude. At the root of the problem is that she doesn't have a lot of empathy for other people and doesn't really understand them. She is very good at her job; so most people tolerate her, but don't go out of their way to spend time with her.
Background
She grew up in the slums of Oriflamme living in the ruins of a skyscraper. Her family wasn't sworn to any of the Holdings or Trusts. As such they only had what they could find for themselves. She learned early on how to find useful things in the wreckage. She also learned to improvise and use her wits to survive. Her scavenging skills were good enough to provide a living for her mother and four younger brothers. Her father had died when she was 10 yrs old. When the RC was established, she realized that her destiny lie in the stars and she immediately applied to join the RCES. Since then she's helped recover technology on numerous worlds and seen things she never imagined. She still sends home a large fraction of her paycheck to her mother. She usually isn't assigned to a single crew, but gets assigned when her skills match up with the ship's mission.
Appearance Description - Anastasia has bright red hair and pale freckled skin, which gave her her tac-code, Fireball. She doesn't care that its actually three syllables. She's 4'10" (1.2m) with a slender build. It lets her slip through cracks and gaps in ruins. She usually wears form fitting body suits to avoid having sleeves and the like catch on rough edges. On her body suit, she'll have a combat harness where she attaches various tools and equipment.
