I started the Karhyri minor alien race entry at the Traveller Wiki...

If you can, please help and contribute to it. Thank you! If you do help, please be aware of FFE's and QuikLink Interactive's fair use policies.

Is there anything canon other than the T5SS notes on the worlds and the material in Gateway to Destiny (p. 33-35, 60-61)?

I can tell you that when looking at the development of Crucis Margin between 993 and 1105, we saw that the biggest trade partner with the Karhyri Worlds would probably be the Cytralin Unity, but that any real development would come from the author of either a Crucis Margin sector book, or perhaps a minor race book on the Karhyri.

I think that is the first and only existing Karhyri source as of July 2015.

Seems plausible.

There are a lot of really neat story seeds in "Gateway to Destiny" that no one else has further developed...

I hope the upcoming T5SS review of Crucis Margin and Gateway will help launch some or all of them.

Sketched out the caste system as an introduction, and as an explanation for their so-called obsessive behavior.

Added characteristics, size, genders, life stages (e.g. adulthood, physical aging, and mental aging ages in standard years), senses, body structure, and caste table. Enough to enable people to run these guys through character generation (using any Traveller rules).

On the assumption that none of this is detailed anywhere else.

If any of this already exists somewhere, then I'll delete the data as needed.

Thanks, Robject! Awesome work. I don't think that data exists elsewhere.

No problem. OK then, subject to fine-tuning, then, I've hopefully given us a starting point.

I am juggling a million projects, but I also hope to get on the T5SS review for Crucis Margin and Gateway sectors so who knows... Maybe I'll work on it soon. LOL ;-)

Thanks, Robject!

I hear you. Jim Kundert recently labelled me "distractible" -- a fair cop actually, what with my own juggling efforts this summer.

Jim is an old friend. We're both in the Western expanses of the Terran Confederation. He has a penchant for words that amuses many.

I'm afraid to know what he might say about me.

Shalom,
Maksim-Smelchak.
