Planetary Atmosphere Question

On the planetary creation atmosphere chart; it lists, under "Effects" stuff like "P#" "S#"; what does that mean?

They are damage effects that are suffered by people exposed to the atmosphere (Poison, Suffocate, Infection, or Corrode).

They are spelled out in long form in the Environmental Effects chart on page 230.
