Off-Topic: Flynn's first D20 Modern mini-supplement...

Good Evening, All,

Please allow me a few moments to make an off-topic announcement regarding my own personal efforts to start publishing D20 products. I just wanted to share with you guys that I have released Modern Options: The Tome of Talents, my very first product under my personal imprint Samardan Press!

Modern Options: The Tome of Talents is a complete compendium of 23 new talent trees for use with your D20-based roleplaying games based on the Modern System Reference Document. This 15-page supplement defines 78 new talents and 10 new feats intended to expand the options of your modern and near-modern D20-based campaigns. Completely bookmarked, it's ideal for GMs and Players alike. At less than the cost of a cheeseburger, you can't go wrong with Modern Options: The Tome of Talents! There's even a preview available on the website to help pique your interest, in case you're still undecided.

More products coming soon!

Enjoy,
Jason "Flynn" Kemp

BTW, please have no worries in regards to Stellar Reaches and my future work with Traveller products for QLI and Avenger. I seriously don't expect to make very much with these small PDFs, but they are fun to do and give me a chance to practice my skills.

"The Universal Concepts System will follow shortly thereafter, followed by UCS Lite sometime this Fall"

This could be interesting Flynn... I will be watching ;)

Congratulations by the way

Thanks, my friend! Glad to know that someone's checking it out. Puts a bee in my bonnet to make sure I get it done. ;)

My Sci-Fi One Shots will be based in UCS, so that they dovetail into the eventual Space Opera campaign/setting that I'll put together for the system. I'll also be working to make those usable by Traveller Referees with minimal adjustments (ship and NPC stats would be about it, and there are a number of supplements out to provide those).

UCS Lite is simply because I like the concept behind games like True20 and Castles and Crusades, but want to tie it back to the UCS system and D20 Modern instead of the strictly fantasy-based rules. It should be a fun challenge.

Enjoy,
Flynn

I've just been getting into CnC and quite like it

I've even made a GRiP character sheet for it!

To garner interest you may wish to start a thread giving maybe a basic outline of UCS Lite, showing it's basic functionality.
Unless this would be to much of a spoiler... ;)

P.S. Add your Supplement to your signature... it can only help

Speaking of which, (late to the table on this, mea culpa)Flynn, but I paid fer your two Robot supplements off Comstar 2-3 days ago, cracked em open yesterday, and Man! I'm impressed.

And all that crunchy goodness for the cost of 1.86 gallons of carbon distallate!

Just in time for some 1248 robot encounters! (The AI-Cym kind). The extended tables for robot creation are a plus! I'll be reccomending these to my co-GM George. :D

Thanks, Liam. I'm glad you enjoy it. I had a good time writing them, and I hope that others find them useful.

Looking forward to hearing the stories of Refs adding robots to their games,
Flynn

Flynn!

Your most welcome,
It will come in most handy. I had seen the earlier version with the 3-4 robots pdf you'd done (and was happier than a porcinus domesticus in swamp-mire to see them again) :D .

For our TNE-setting campaign this will make a big difference from Vampire Fleets robots with AI-"sentience" somewhat with the changing of TL-baselines from TL-A to TL-C, but one I'm happy to wiggle! ;) x5

Sincerely,
