I was browsing in boredom, and stumbled across the following

Note that about 3/4 of the way through, they start talking about a low pressure plasma method of growing diamonds... and show sheets of the stuff. several inch diameter disks of the stuff. And it's a really good thermoconductor!
So, I figured I'd point this out, since it's the first I've heard of it.
