the MV Lucky Star is a TL-12 Type A2 variant of the XXXXXX Class, it slipped is moorings at the Gram Shipyards in late 1107 and served out the the Fifth Frontier War as a Sword Worlds as a War Subsidy Merchantmen, her original Owner/Capitan Hugo Storn through a combination of War Profiteering and Black Marketing was able to clear almost half the Mortgage on the ship before the Cease Fire was signed, in the following months he would strip the weapons and turrets to continue making payments and to cover his mounting Gambling Debts until he lost the title (and all the mortgage commitment) to Eric Olstin a former ranking member of the Gramstaatsbedrif Security Branch. it has since bean used to work the Sword Worlds/Border Worlds Interface.

Before he joined the Gramstaatsbedrif Merchant line Eric Olstin was a Sergent with the Protected & Special Forces Branch of the Sword Worlds Army, upon joining Gramstaatsbedrif he found his ambitions for a Deck posting blocked as he was sidelined in to their Security Branch where he was not commissioned as a Line Officer until the outbreak of the 5th Frontier War, he quickly rose to one of the lines Senior Field Officers but was transferred to an Interface Feeder Line at Wars end and soon discharged entirely. He has just won the MV Lucky Star (and the accompanying Debts that he spent most of his liquidity clearing) and has started to make a go of running the ship growing 50,000 Krona in to over half a million in just three months.

Of Icelandic decent (hence no family name) Reki is a small pretty blond woman, born on Sacnoth she served eight years in the Patrol where she earned the rank of Leutnant, she is qualified as both a Deck and Boarding Party Officer. With the collapse of the Trailing section of the Sword Worlds towards the end of the 5th Frontier War she was interned as a POW, at wars end she chose to be repatriated to the Sword Worlds instead of her homeworld that lies in the newly formed Border Worlds. Due to her World of Origin she was caught by the Patrols RiF it has undergone since Wars end and for a time was without work until she signed on to the MV Lucky Star.
