Hey Everyone!

Just putting out the feelers for some interested individuals in the right time zone with the time available.

We are currently playing a game via Roll20 VTT https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/...e-sinister-secrets-of-yaalandra-dot-episode-5

on Sundays (start 1130 at +10:00 time zone(Brisbane Australia) and finishing 3.5-4.5 hrs later) basically once a month but may get more frequent. Looking for 2 players maybe more depends on how things go.

Play is currently in the Vanguard Reaches (yr1119). Rules are mostly canon but with some homebrew hacked stuff included.

Looking for mature aged gamers as we are all old fellas 40+. players new to the system are welcome.

I might be interested, I need to check about the time. That's 8:30pm on Sat. here in NY which I might be able to make work once a month (I will get back you you on that).

(DickNervous)Are you familiar with Roll20? If so, or you just wanted to get some intel on that, I would be happy to have PM conversation with you maybe send you screen shots etc if that would help feed your curiosity?? We use Roll20 as the table top but Skype for Comms (no video - saves chewing up the bandwidth!). We also use another tool in the form of a Google+ private community set up for the characters and players alike. Players can get info etc. Characters can chat in down time ie Jump Space and the like via the community. Also during game time we are all at the community at the same time so it is utilised for if the player wants more detail or wants to go back over intel from previous missions etc etc. Or for me to run slide shows for the adventure etc.

As far as the using the VTT, I personally am very new to them I love table top (old school)and really never saw myself teching up for it but I bit the bullet made the jump and found that some how especially for Traveller it lends itself to it. It quite surprised me out how a game could look and flow, and in one game i can cater for most players wants in a game more detail less detail, more trappings less trappings etc etc. Quite Surprised! and as an old fella it takes a bit to do that! lol.

Sorry I couldn't make it this week, the wife got sick. :(

I will take you up on the info on Roll20 via PM.

I have been playing a D&D 5e campaign with some folks in Fantasy Grounds with Teamspeak for voice and it is pretty cool. But if I wanted to do Traveller I would have to build the ruleset and everything. I looked at Roll20 briefly, but it would be great to get some details for someone who actually uses it.

DickNervous Not a problem mate I will PM you soon with some stuff hope you find it helpful. FYI the game isn't until this Sunday, but that's ok it could be a push to get you set up character wise or NPC wise unless you play someone who doesn't attend??
