Mongoose Newbs need help!

Our group is moving into Mongoose Traveller. We're also older and with failing eyesight. Are the large "LBB" books the same material as the small ones? That is, Scout, etc?

AFAIK the large books have the same that the LBB, plus some sidebars and manybe other details, and, as you said, in larger letters (so easier to read for thos of us that are not as young as we'd wish.

What he said, BUT not all of the LBBs correspond to the larger books. IIRC Library data is only in LBB format, and the large book with the same supplement(?) number is a different book.

Jump over to the Mongoose site and do a comparison before you buy a whole set.

Just be warned: The image quality on the deckplans isn't so hot in the PDFs... so blowing those up is a waste of time.
