Modernizing the Solomani Rim

For my other projects, I've made a 2D Traveller quadrant map of the stars around sol (up to 10 parsecs from it) based on recent real-life astronomical data. I also have a fairly good idea of where a few more stars are outside this quadrant (up to 20-30 parsecs from Sol).

So, my idea is to combine this data, which is quasi-'realistic' (i.e. 'flattened 'into 2D from the 3D real universe), with CT's S10: The Solomani Rim, to create a version of the Rim which has some basis in real astronomy. I'll also "correct" some of the more glaring contradictions of the Rim, such as worlds with too low a gravity to hold their atmosphere.

So here is the quadrant map:

I always took Traveller maps to be of jumpspace rather than intended to be astrographically accurate. Stars without planets (or belts) didn't make the Traveller maps, for example

For 3D/accuracy, something like Jim V's Starmap program instead of Galactic.
