I was looking over the Merchant profession.
A Third Officer with Two terms, which is a plausible occurrence, has two 1 in 6 chance of getting a knighthood on the Benefits table. Third Officer? Really?
That seems pretty silly.
A First Officer with 5 terms, which is also plausible, has five 50% chances for a knighthood. Statistically, that's pretty much a certainty.
That seems pretty silly.
In addition, a Star Passage is worth a great deal of money, like about CR 250,000. Temporary employees have a 1 in 6 chance of one per term served, but a Third Officer has no chance of one. That's because the money chart reads:
1 Low Passage
2 Star Passage
3 Mid Passage
4 High Passage
etc.
Again, that seems silly.
