Megatraveller Ship Design Software

I seem to recall one but can't think who or where. Did you search the board posts here too? It has come up before I'm almost certain.

Off the top of my head all I can find a link for is "Ships III" but I don't recall actually using it nor why. The link below takes you to the authors home page, click the "downloads" link to get to the program.

Yup, that'd be the one

I thought I had seen one somewhere a while back but couldn't find it.
I had a hard drive failure and didn't have copies of my lists of links.

Thanks Far Trader

Ships III is the only one I know of, and I've used it. It's pretty good. Makes the job a lot less tedious. The only problem potentially is if you use any house rules for your ships, but then that's a problem with virtually any software like this. It has a couple of built-in optional house rules already, and space for adding in specialty componants (where you put in the description, mass, volume, and power of it) which adds to its flexibility. All in all I use it pretty much any time I have to make a ship, and it helps when you want to take a design and test the effects of variations easily, like seeing how much cargo you can cram into a N-ton ship with X-drive, etc.

I'm glad to see that it is still available on the net. :)
