From Mora
Consider the trip from Mora to Arden at jump-2:
You might want to hit Rhylanor along the way. Just make a loop at Jae Tellona:

By stopping at Rech, you can jump past Djinni (Red) and Wypoc (Amber) into Dinomn (a good B-class starport). The rest of the route to Arden skips the smaller starports and favors the better ones:

If you're coming from Lunion, you'll probably end up at Rech.
This is actually two jump-2 jumps shorter than the Regina route, though any trip that way has the benefit of hitting Yori (high-pop) and Regina.
Polishing Rech
Okay, if I were the charismatic dictator of Rech, I'd do my best to turn Rech into an attractive stop. Probably turn its underground maze into a sort of museum of old ships and set up some amazing casinos and other entertainment. Maybe something that you can't get anywhere else.
