Looking for a Frontier World

I need a world with Earth-like gravity and atmosphere, but with a "wild west" feel of ranchers, miners, and little law enforcement. Came is based out of Rhylanor. Any published worlds like that? If not, where would you put it? I'm using Nutema now, but I'd like another, and the PCs will ship cattle between the two and some big high-tech planet for luxury food. Cattle rustlers of the stars . . .

You haven't stumbled across Tarsus in District 268 yet? It was lovingly detailed in the Tarsus boxset for CT. It also fits all of your requirements right down to a indigenous migratory herbivore species called "nobbles" whose herds the locals ranch and cull for meats and leather exports.

It's a little far afield from Rhylanor but there's nothing stopping you from moving it to where you need it.

How about Belizo, in Rhylanor subsector itself (0605)

It's a wee bit bigger than Earth and it's atmosphere is a wee bit thicker. It's agricultural. It has an Earth-like representative democracy government (tee hee - let's not get into arguments over that) and your interstellar cattle traffic may explain just why it is that a Tech-5 world has a B class starport.

So what if nobody's written it up yet. You seem to have a pretty clear idea of what it is that you want, and Belizo would appear to fit the bill closely enough that you should be able to run with it.

Oh yeah, and three naval bases within J-3 (Rhylanor, Jae Tellona and Celepina) shoudl make things a little hot for the stellar rustlers if they get too ambitious, and draw the serious attention of the authorities down on themselves ...
