Yeah, I've been wondering about that. Dredd book is on sale, movie is coming Sept 22nd. I've been looking forward to this movie for quite a while, ever since I learned that Karl Urban is playing Dredd. There aren't a lot of actors that I think could pull off the role, he's one of them.
Karl kicks ass.
Yeah, I am much happier about this project since I saw an interview Karl did and he talked about reading 2000 A.D. for research and he actually mentioned things like Psi Judge Anderson's great sacrifice and the Dark Judges. He also said he found a description of Dredd's voice in like one spot and that he is modeling his voice on that description.
Also, Block Wars! Yep, this looks pretty neat. Now I wonder if Anderson will be using any of her Psi powers since the synopsis states that she is Psi Judge Anderson and not just a regular Judge.
