Not sure where to put this question, so I hope here is ok...
Is there any information on Holiday? Day 0 in the Imperial calander. I know that the Holiday List of Imperial nobles is published that day, but is there anything else?
Are starports shutdown and the staff given a day off? I assume that if they continue to operate they run on a reduced staff, or skeleton crew. Are ships allowed to leave/enter the starport but maybe customs frigates will be way behind schedule (so you may as well have a party on your ship while you wait)?
And the Holiday List - is it only published on Capital or maybe it is sent out ahead of time to the various Sector capitals and all publish on that day? There may or may not be intrigues in trying to find out who is on that list BEFORE it is published on Holiday.
As for other, cultural, customs, I'm sure those vary from region to region, and GM to GM. I could put whatever I want in My Traveller Universe for that sort of thing.
