Higher education tables?

Thoom

SOC-11
I'm creating new character with the T5 rules and I'm looking for the tables for higher education (pre-requisites, admission, etc.). Are they missing or did *I* miss something?

Thanks,
Denis

Just got my Trav 5 CDROM update, was rolling a character up this morning (morning here anyway).

Page 100 has the higher education options.

Thanks! My bad. Since it's prior to careers in the process I didn't look further.

Much appreciate!

Does the line in College/University "2x Int or Edu" mean roll twice for each year, or roll 2x my edu (7x2=14) to pass? The latter seems wrong, but I wanted to verify.

Education Table typo?

Good Morning, all...

I just checked the Beta draft on the Beta Update CD, the Pass/Fail (during the Beta) was 4x Int or Edu for both College and University and both awarded a Bachelor degree. This made sense because it is a four year term. Now it says 2x Int or Edu, but the duration remained 4 years.

Also, the first column (College in the final draft) had the heading College/University in the beta draft to denote that either could award the Bachelor. This second is a small thing, but would add clarity.

I believe these two things are errata.

Looking at the other schools on p.100, I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be 4x, not 2x, thus one roll per year. Law school is thus also needing errata; I think it should be "3 years", not "2 years", because most law schools in the US are currently using three-year curricula. Others might choose to change to "2x Int or Edu", though.

I believe this is correct. The body text supports it.

On the plus, my test character is no longer a college dropout, but failed university.

If the rules get updated, will there be a way to download new version of the text? (Maybe that's a question for another thread?)

If the rules get updated...

We're waiting for Don to give us the go-sign to start providing errata. I hope to have the first 100 pages or so ready to go, at least from a grammar/spelling/punctuation (GSP) perspective.

No word on how the errata will be integrated. I suspect a collated text-file, accompanied by my fervent prayers for .PDF updates.

Link?

I don't see a new errata. The thread about not posting errata info is still at April 1st. What am-I missing?
