I am looking for a sober assessment from someone who has written a few lifepath event tables. What is your unvarnished opinion of the tables in Scouts?

Briefly: they do the job they're intended for, although I'm not sure that they would all fit my vision of the Scouts. They give a wide variety of outcomes, which is really what you're wanting from such tables. There's nothing in there that makes me take a sharp intake of breath and go "ooohh, nonononono that's not right".

Thank you for getting back to me on this. I my self had the "ohnonononononononono" responce. 6 test characters and none managed more than three terms before up and out occured.

Just don't like the graft, deciet, betrayals and loads of enemies, these ARE scouts fer Cleon's sake. If these tables are this rough, they should give a free copy of Prison Planet out with every copy of Scoundrels, the character will probably still be in jail when the game starts. Aughta have 4-5 MOJ agents personally looking for them too.:rofl:
