A Thousand Things
I want... I want to figure out some of the things going on just outside the borders. A little context, some recent events... but a way to... I can't find the words. I want to present opportunities for players without feeling like it's all knowable.
I want to read about what's happened along the Dandelion Coast and say to myself "I want to go there and hunt Dread Vargr Pirate Queen Valtra, or be a pirate, or find that lost El Dorado mine, try to survive the so-called Silk Road to Vland, meddle in border politics, or just get lost on one of those backwater worlds... or or or..."
I want to know why the Efate Wilds aren't settled... what Jewell's problem is... If Vilis and Gram are perpetually feuding... just what is on that old Jettdisovekkeding Cruiser Path that ships never return from... And what is it like to be caught in a Tangle?
...How close can I get to Gram or Mora before they start harassing our ship? Is Derchon a no-man's land of chaos, even though it was spared the Wave? What does it look like then?
And what's up with Magash and its little empire? Are they hostile to everybody or just Regina nobles, or something in between? Are they protecting or hiding anyone or anything?
