Well, there is alot of speculation in the military design field of how deep UAV reconaissance is going to penetrate the TOE's of the G8 nations. Most see the vehicles as a brigade asset, some say battalion. Some military-themed authors (including my old boss, Harry Coyle) have speculated that UAV's will become vehicle mounted for every combat vehicle in a company/battery, a'la the American M9 illo in Ground Vehicles 2300.

What we DO know is that the vehicles are damned effective. Just ask al'Qaida.
