The much-maligned corsair, appears in Supplement 4, and then is corrected in Spinward Marches Campaign.
Before people begin hating on the Corsair, I should explain that in my campaigns, Pirate is really Privateer, and is basically a navy mercenary and/or auxiliary. I support this because in MT, one of the mustering out benefits is a "Letter of Marque". So, in my campaigns, a player whose character gets one of these as a mustering out benefit, they can actually use it. Pirates don't have to be bad guys...
