As we're all getting older, we might eventually need the Gamer's Aid Society.
Is it still around?
- Is it a formal or official non-profit organization?
Are they taking donations for the Holidays?
- I'd like to donate.
Are there any projects we can do to build up money for it?
- Making posters to sell. There are a ton of cosplayers out there who could put together a decent Sci-Fi Traveller costume.
- I know at least one Traveller artist with some medical issues that could possibly need this. We could turn his original artwork into posters using live models and get them sold at conventions and online. It could also give the cosplay model some exposure, if that's what they want.
Another could be auctioning off certain items.
- A painted 2nd Dynasty Scout/Courier, Type A Free Trader, Modular Cutter, or others.
- Duplicate books. I accidentally ordered a second book from Amazon one time. I'd put it up for Auction.
