Do we have a thread for Robots?

I notice we cover races, creatures, equipment, and ships but is there a thread listing robots? It would be fun to see what people post.

Here is my first shot at a robot.
MILES 1103 Training Bot

Stunner
Grav Unit 1
Laser Pistol 1

Descriptions
Designed as target bots for tactical range training as part of the MILES 1103 system. They appear as gun metal blue sports ball-sized spheres hovering on their heavy-duty antigravs. The stunner is on the top of the robot. Below it are two independent rotating sensor arrays equipped with audio, image sensors. Beneath these lie the brain unit, radio, slave unit, and holo projector.

In operation, the robot is slaved to the trainer’s communit to set a starting position, and to pick whether the holo projector will project a hostage or a foe. The trainer can also keep the robot slaved or set it to autonomous operations.

Game Notes

The stunner does no damage to targets, instead each hit takes 6Aps away from the target.

Hey Gray,

Forgive the obvious question but what robot creation rules set did you use to whip this gem up? I am working on my first Bot now with MgT book 9 what you have looks very different.

I used CT robots book. It was my first try at it. I would like to see your creation Botcho

Ok here goes nothing. I threw it together using Mongoose's Book 9. Many of the choices were made based on my current character's financial disposition and software library. It's a bit of a mash up due to the peculiar, round about manner, He's cooked up to benifit from the use of powerful AI intellects while minimizing the risk that they become self aware and troublesome. Please share your thoughts.

The i2vd-a or "Intellect/2 vehicle Drone, Anthropomorphic" is, just as the name suggests, a standard imperium human shaped biped designed to be the intermittent vehicle for an Intellect/2 and a variable mix of expert systems. Care has been taken in the design to ensure that all joints perform with similar range of motion to that of a reasonably fit member of humaniti. It's I/0 channels are as per human norms excepting for the absence of the olfactory range and its tactile sense is limited to structural feedback. In addition each i2vd-a has wireless and integrated commlink features.

The i2vd-a's operational purpose is to function as a "generalized human surrogate". It is at it's core a drone. It's Command Algorithm/3, while sophisticated in its capacity to follow directions, (pulling on extensive encyclopedic software (int 5, edu 9)) it understands well enough to make just about any unskilled roll without much trouble, it is still a drone and needs to be "operated" by a skilled sophont or Intellect for professional results.

It's most sophisticated system, the Distributed Processing Matrix or DPM, Is an innovative network of Botcho's design that leans on the reliability of the old robotic mainstay the Parallel/3 Processors and Wafer Jack/2's and is administrated over by a sleek and powerful Synaptic/5 processing unit. This mix allows for the computing capacity to, when needed, run a complex Intellect/2 Software entity in addition to the drones default Command Algorithm. When such an entity is loaded its broad modularity of Expert systems can be brought to bare on any problem that normally calls for a skilled human operator.
