I'm hacking TNE/Twilight2K for a Morrow Project idea, I was wondering whether there were some good TNE books out there with creatures/stats that can be turned into rampaging mutants...

TNE/Twilight use the same mechanics as Cadillacs and Dinosaurs (and Space 1889 I think), so you can pull all sorts of beaties from there if you wish.

Best regards,

Ewan

That and you could just use the standard Traveller Aliens as mutents. Vargr become mutant wolfmen, Hivers mutant starfish, Aslan mutant lionmen, K'kree mutent cowmen, and Ithklur and Droyn as mutat llizardmen.

Ewan

Not Space 1889. It's a precursor, but it's not the same mechanics.

Space 1889 is standalone.

2300 is standalone, but uses almost the same task system as Mega. Some elements are incorporated into T2K 2E, but it is contemporary with 1E.

T2K 1E is a standalone system as well; it gets simplified and mangled into T2K 2E, but isn't compatible.

T2K 2.0E is close to the mechanics of TNE... but not quite there. Careers can be ported, but skill use mechanics differ.

T2K 2.2E, Dark Conspiracy, and Caddilacs & Dinosaurs are all the same core engine as TNE, but skill acquisition differs slightly.
