Yeah. All the computer experts that hate Virus because "that" can't exist fail to imagine that in probably less than ten years time anything in a computer of that time probably couldn't even be plugged into the computer you're reading this post on, and more than half the stuff in the computer you're reading this post on probably couldn't be wired into a commodore 64. Now, remind me again of the Solomani calender date that 1129 3rd Imperium corresponds to.

In any event it's a PLOT DEVICE just like jump drive, which I'm engaging now to avoid the following flame war... 3, 2, 1, jumps.

Granted it is a plot device but the real destruction of the Third Imperium happened well before the release of the Virus. Doesn't anyone remember their history anymore the Black War & subsquent Hard Times destroyed the Imperium's greatest resource - Hope.
