Commo and Sensor Packages for T5

Here are commo and sensor elements from MegaTraveller. I'd like to find out what their FFS2 counterparts are, decide what adjustments to make, rebuild the table below, and from there build four electronics packages, following these guidelines:

Vehicle Electronics Package Low volume (no more than 0.1t), KCr150. Regional/continental commo and sensors.

Smallcraft Electronics Package Insignificant volume (no more than 0.1t), KCr500. Built for orbital-range operations.

Commercial Spacecraft Electronics Package Insignificant volume (no more than 0.1t), MCr1. Built for system ranges and typical "light combat" range.

Survey Electronics Package A few MCr. Built for finding things that are hard to find. Good for military operations as well as Scout ships.

In addition, I'd like people's thoughts about the data broadcaster that's in the X-Boat. I suggest a high-bandwidth broadcaster that takes up one slot in a turret and displaces appx 1/3 ton. Thus three of them would fill a triple turret and would displace the 1 ton that would normally be needed for fire control in CT.

That could mean a battery of 300 laser communicators with a 1000 AU range, at appx 1 MW, for MCr54.

Code:

HP Densitometer, 1km 7.0 MCr 1.5
Neutrino Sensor, 10kw 0.2 KCr 110
FarOrbit EMS Jammer 0.12 MCr 1.2
So, does it matter whether a regional radio commo is Cr500 versus Cr8,000? Should a radio commo with a planetary range cost KCr 100,000?

I always thought of the xboat (and xboat tender!) "communicators and data banks" as the form of the mail tonnage (5t). Even worked up a version which took advantage of hivers half cost, double storage computers to make an xboat at the same price as the standard one, got 18 "data bank" storage. The T4 design stuff i have i miss not specifying computers, and the costs were extremely expensive, especially when TL was taken into account. Lack of survey/scout/prospectors sensors (just what was removed from that 7.5t bay in the scout/courier?), at least one's that don't cost 65MCr, is something i would like to see addressed. Computers proper, with TL and limiting jump, programs are essential traveller to me. Not sure how all this is being implemented in T5.

That's an extremely good point Maccat. I have to remember this when I get around to designing the Xboat (which, sadly, I think is bound to be broken no matter what I do).
